Sauna: Sauna is a cleansing ritual which originated in Finland and is religiously done each day by the Fins. It is a Finnish way to cure, heal and free your body and mind from stress. It starts with a routine shower after which you would be invited to take off your clothes and enter a room filled with steam of hot water. The body is cleansed as sweat makes its way through the skin pores. Leaves of Birch trees are often provided to flagellate lightly on your body. This stimulates blood circulation and leaves a light aroma. You can enter sauna as many times you want. Diving straight into the lake after sauna or rolling in the Ice completes the Sauna experience. The sauna holds great significance in Finnish culture- it is believed to cure all ills and makes you meet your solace! A sauna especially in Finland should not be missed out of shyness- rather it should be thoroughly enjoyed! The staff would provide you with towels if you need them and you can decide your Sauna pairs among yourself prior to your Sauna experience
