Day 1
Arrival in Uganda
You should arrive into Entebbe by 12pm latest otherwise, you will need an extra night in Entebbe or Kampala.
Meet on arrival at the airport, VIP assist through customs and start your trip to Fort Portal. You will drive through hills and the evergreen rain forests and tea plantations. Proceed to the Lodge. Time permitting, have a walk down to the craters in search for Birds. Meals and overnight at Ndali Lodge.

Day 2
Full day Chimpanzee tracking
After early breakfasts enjoy the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience, This once in a lifetime experience allows you to accompany the researchers and habituation team to the chimps. During the tour, you will come across the chimps de-nesting (from their nocturnal nests), keep following them throughout the day till they make new nests in the evening. You will see how they interact with the young ones, feed them and train them how to survive on their own. Return to the lodge in the evening. Meals and overnight at Ndali Lodge.

Day 3
Kibale – Queen Elizabeth
After Breakfast, start for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Stop at the equator for photography. Proceed to the park with views of plains, hilly landscapes and the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range most of the journey. Enter the park, keeping an eye out for game where you may be rewarded with view of Waterbucks, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. After lunch, have an afternoon siesta then venture on a game drive in search for big game. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodation at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 4
Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning rise, and a cup of your favourite beverage, embark on a morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and keep a watch out for Lion, Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Warthogs, Leopard, Hyena, Mongoose, Waterbuck, Ugandan Kob, and lots of the many small animals and birds. After the game drive return to the Lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a unique boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through high concentrations of Hippos and a wide variety of animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This river cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous with well over 600 recorded species having been spotted. Retire in the later afternoon to the lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 5
Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi
After an early morning breakfast, proceed to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you drive along the road via Ishasha sector (famous for its tree climbing Lions), you should see a multitude of animals. Arrive at the camp in the afternoon, relax around the camp, with dinner and overnight accommodation at either Bwindi Lodge or Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day 6
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
There is an early morning entry into the gorilla sanctuary. The rainforest is spectacular, heavily vegetated and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for trekkers. This park is best known for the fascinating gorillas, where the time taken and terrain varies according to the movements of these fantastic apes. The thrill of spending time with and observing these gentle giants is a rare and moving adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with each other. Return for dinner and overnight accommodation either at Bwindi Lodge or the Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day 7
Bwindi – Parc National des Volcans
After breakfast have an early start for Rwanda, with stops on the way for amazing views of the Volcanoes. Proceed to the border, go through customs and cross into Rwanda - clocks go backward one hour. Drive to Parc des Volcans with views of the great, old volcanoes towering up almost 15,000 feet, and nearly covered with rich, green rainforest. Dinner and overnight accommodation at Virunga Lodge.

Day 8
Gorilla Trekking in Parc National des Volcans
Early morning transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park staff. Loaded with your drinking water, packed lunch and walking stick, enter the forest in search for the famous Mountain Gorillas. The trail into the forest, will abruptly immerse you in the mysterious intimacy of the rainforest – home to the Gorillas. An exhilarating Gorilla trek through the cultivated foothills of the Virungas can be muddy and challenging but offers a great experience. Alive with the calls of Gorillas you will spend an hour before sloping back to the base. As you lope through the gaps in the forest canopy, the magnificent peaks, among the highest in Africa are glimpsed. Dinner and overnight accommodation at Virunga Lodge.

Day 9
Departure
Start for Kigali, time permitting, have a short tour of the city including a visit to the pottery project, handicraft shops and the genocide memorial. Transfer to the airport for your international flight.
