Khao Sok National Park - 5 nights/6 days

This 5 night and 6 days itinerary is a perfect combination of some wildlife adventure and leisure. Explore one of the oldest rainforest in the world and the surreal beaches of Thailand. Khao Sok is famous for its dramatic limestone formations and cascading waterfalls, very unique setting for a wildlife adventure; and Phuket is one of the most famous leisure destinations in the world.

Khao Sok National Park comprises the largest virgin forest in Southern Thailand. Many believe that this lowland jungle to be more than 160 million years old, making it one of the oldest rainforest in the world. It features dramatic limestone formations and waterfalls that cascades through juice thickets drenched with rain and morning dew. A network of dirt trails snakes through the park and allows the visitors to spy on wide array of indigenous species. The rainforest is rich in wildlife; close and personal elephant encounters, jungle trekking on foot, canoeing and Truck Safaris are all possible activities, which will give you the experience of a lifetime.

Day 1:- Arrive in Thailand – Phuket
Arrive at the Phuket International Airport and take drive to your lodge in Khao Sok National Park; this is four hour drive. You will be received by our representative in Phuket and be transferred to the lodge. Relax for the rest of the day and take in the fresh forest air.

Day 2 to Day 4:- Chitwan National Park
You will spend the next 3 days in Khao Sok National Park, with enough time to enjoy all that the park has to offer. Khao Sok is Southeast Asia’s most vital wildlife habitat. A wide array of animal species reside in the park including Wild Elephants, Gibbons, Civets, Malay Sun Bear, long-tail Macaques, Gaur, Malayan Tapir, Wild Boar and Asian Wild Dogs. The park also houses a wide variety of birds, more than 300 species are found here.
You can choose how you want to explore the park. A guided hike in the jungle is the most preferred way; explore the tropical rainforest at your own pace, and you stand a chance of coming face to face with wild Elephants, a Malay Sun Bear or a Wild Dog. It is also the best way to enjoy some bird watching. The waterways in the park are another way to explore the park. The boat tours and canoeing are best suited to witness wildlife in its natural habitat.
Head back to Phuket at the end of Day 4 for some marine adventure.

Day 5:- Phuket
Next one and a half day is free for you to explore Phuket at your own pace. You can head to Khao Lak for some scuba diving and snorkeling fun, or just relax at the Phuket beach.

Day 6:- Departure
After lunch you will be dropped at Phuket International Airport for your departure flight back home.
