Aberdare National Park : Aberdere National Park is 260kms from Nairobi and covers higher area of Central Kenya. With altitudes up to 14000 feet above sea level, it has been a great host of wildlife and outdoor experience from over 50 years. Aberdere includes Moorland thickets, Rain forests and Bamboo forests and Aberdere specific flora and fauna! The Park in its terrains and valleys shelters around 350 species of animals including 40 species of mammals. Elephants and Hyenas can be easily spotted as they settle at permanent water holes. You can trace Aberdere specific species such as Colobus Monkeys, Black Duiker, Bush Duiker in the moorland thickets. Leopards, Lions and Rhinos can also be sighted during morning and evening safaris to the forests.
Nakuru National Park: This strongly alkaline lake is the ideal ecosystem for Flamingos. The lake has a superb geographical location between marshy lands, cliffs, troughs and grasslands. Along with over a million Flamingos, Pelicans and around 450 other species of birds can be traced in Nakuru. Get astounding sights of Rhinos lazing and grazing on your way through the Park .This small lake also has Africa’s largest population of Black and White Rhinos
Masai Mara National Park (MMNR) or ‘The Mara’ spreads around 37300kms in Southern Kenya is a favorite gaming destination since colonialism. In 1974 the gaming reserve got its stature of a National Park and is named after the popular Maasai Tribe. Come in July to spot world’s largest migration of around 1.3mn Wildbeest and Zebras from Sarengeti to Masai. Get to spend almost two days including an early morning game to spot the Big Cats and 500 distinct and uncommon species of animals. Masai Mara Reserve also offers adventures like – Hot Air Balloon Safari, Air Safari and Nature Walks!
