The Amboseli National Park is around 200km down south from Nairobi. It is home to over 300 Wildlife species but can be vouched for its spectacular and close view of free ranging Elephants. Its scruffy vegetation makes it easy to spot other mammals like Lion, Cheetah Giraffe and Buffalos. Also, get the picturesque view of the tallest standalone Mount Kilimanjaro and its frequently changing mood as clouds gather and drift away between dawns to dusk!
The Nakuru National Park This strongly alkaline lake is the ideal ecosystem for Flamingos. The lake has a superb geographical location between marshy lands, cliffs, troughs and grasslands. Along with over a million Flamingos, Pelicans and around 450 other species of birds can be traced in Nakuru. Get astounding sights of Rhinos lazing and grazing on your way through the Park .This small lake also has Africa’s largest population of Black and White Rhinos.
Masai Mara National Park (MMNR) or ‘The Mara’ spreads around 37300kms in Southern Kenya is a favorite gaming destination since colonialism. In 1974 the gaming reserve got its stature of a National Park and is named after the popular Maasai Tribe. Come in July to spot world’s largest migration of around 1.3mn Wildbeest and Zebras from Sarengeti to Masai. Get to spend almost two days including an early morning game to spot the Big Cats and 500 distinct and uncommon species of animals.
